Leading Through Empowering Listening

Overview
This Stress, Trauma, and Resilience (STAR) Seminar will introduce leading through empowering listening strategies. Empowering listening is a framework for effectively hearing and responding to identity-related narratives/challenges. Dr. Wadsworth will provide context of when to use these skills, how to use them, and encourage group practice. The training will also offer suggestions on how to respond to identity-related ruptures. More information about leading through empowering listening strategies can be found in the book, Did That Just Happen?! Beyond "Diversity" — Creating Sustainable and Inclusive Organizations, authored by Dr. Stephanie Pinder-Amaker and Dr. Lauren Wadsworth. A recording will not be made available for this STAR Seminar.
